We are pleased to announce that we have a NEW INSURANCE COMPANY.

Effective July 1, 2010 MetLife will be our new Group Life Incurance company.

CPF Members are eligible to participate in a competitive GROUP RATED life insurance program underwritten by MetLife. The advantage of group rated life insurance is that it has minimal medical underwriting making in convenient and easy to enroll.  And it is available for FAMILY members as well.  Premium payments can be deducted from your paycheck or from your personal checking account using convenient electronic funds transfer.

Group Life Insurance works best for:

• Members who are just beginning their career as professional firefighters and want to protect their loved ones at minimal costs.
• Affiliate Locals wanting to provide a minimum amount of life insurance for all members of the Local.
• Ease and convenience - Just complete an enrollment form, answer a few general health questions and submit your request to our Administrator.  It's that simple!
